3 simple strategies to beat the COVID-19 crisis will better position you to design a life and business you love when things start to get back to normal. So, is your best life worth fighting for? If YES… you must be prepared to learn and take action on the 3 strategies that will create the income, lifestyle and freedom you want. Read below to find out more about these strategies.
I know that these are scary times for you, your family, and all of humanity, for that matter. For those of you that have been following me for a while, you know that one thing I focus on a great deal is mindset.
The simple truth is we cannot control the world around us. The only thing we have 100% control over is how we deal with the circumstances we find ourselves in.
So today, I want to share 3 simple strategies on how I am physically, mentally, emotionally and financially dealing with the Coronavirus. They are: (1) focus on health, (2) focus on self, (3) focus on wealth.
“Luck is what happens when preparation meets opportunity.” – Darrell Royal, football player and coach
#1 – Focus on health
With the COVID-19 crisis… there are many outside forces pushing us to be depressed and quit trying. It’s easy to give up, complain and blame the circumstances. But I refuse to quit trying to improve my life even in chaos. My ability to win all starts with focusing on my health.
There is a great saying “you can’t drive a Ferrari without any gas”, and the same thing goes with your health… you can’t use your body to take you places if you don’t have energy.
There is a definite link between what’s going on inside of me, my health, my vitality, my mental attitude, and how those energies are flowing, and how my outside life is manifesting. When I feel tired, lazy and bored… that’s precisely what my life goals and accomplishments turn out to be. My body, or what I refer to as my shining red Ferrari gets parked in the garage so to speak, and so does my life. Without energy, no fuel to enjoy the ride, I get parked going nowhere.
Even with all the COVID -19 crisis going on today, I choose to be physically fit, feeling full of energy and possibility. I have a fiery desire to live to the max and, have a huge goal to design the life and business I love so that I will be better positioned to create the income, lifestyle, and freedom I want – when things get back to normal.
For 60 minutes every day, I do some intense physical movements. I go for brisk walks, run, lift weights, push myself physically. Physical strength builds emotional strength and helps me get rid of fears, develop courage and build the gladiator psychology I need to thrive. I use physiology and nutrition to build energy. The energy I have, fuels my mind psychology and better prepares me for challenges and opportunities.
The healthier I got physically, the stronger I grew mentally. I began to make more definite and courageous decisions and take action necessary to propel myself forward. Yes, health and vitality is not everything, but it is the difference maker. All things being equal, a healthy physical body and state of mind gives me the edge to move forward.
Richard Branson, mega-entrepreneur, was asked: “What is the number one secret to improving productivity?” He responded, “being fit mentally and physically.”
#2 – Focus on self
As mentioned above, you have to be mentally healthy and physically fit to have the energy you need to produce in the day, and you also must harness enthusiasm and passion and bring forth a positive mindset to make the right decisions and have the courage to take the consistent action required.
I make sure to focus on myself – my mindset every day. A great mentor of mine told me that your personal and business success will never outperform your mindset, and your mindset will never be greater than your highest vision of yourself. Regardless of how hard you try, work, or hustle you will never outperform your mindset’s weakest link.
“Give me six hours to chop down a tree, and I will spend the first four sharpening the ax.” – Abraham Lincoln, former President of the USA
Do you consistently abandon the fear of failure, think big, believe in self and set a big vision?
I never make my small business dreams make me small-minded. I never say the words “I can’t”, “they are too big”, “I am too small.” Don’t let the fact that you are going through some difficult times shrink your ambition. Have a vision bigger than yourself. Be big, believe it will happen, and you set the stage for your success.
Personal growth (actively seeking self-awareness and self-actualization) is not only rewarding and fulfilling, it’s a crucial part of ensuring long-term success as an entrepreneur. It shouldn’t be an obligation but a choice, an opportunity, an investment in yourself and your future.
There is a saying, “you can skip a meal but never skip a day feeding your mind with good books and audio.” Make sure to invest at least 30 minutes a day on personal development.
“Conditioning ensures that the change you create lasts long term.” – Anthony Robbins, Personal Mastery teacher
#3 – Focus on wealth
Each and every one of us has some big idea that’s been floating around in our head, something we’ve wanted to learn, or a project we’ve meant to tackle, or a business we wanted to start… but we just haven’t had the time. Well, now is the time!
Throughout my life, I have wondered how some entrepreneurs seem destined for wealth, freedom and success, while others barely seem able to stay afloat (working in their business as a slave, working in emptiness and with financial pressures). Most people think successful entrepreneurs just got lucky. But what they don’t see is all the painful experiences and emotions they had to overcome. All the struggles, the daily rejection, the betrayals, the criticism, the empty bank accounts, and the lonely nights to finally make their vision come to reality. They have what it referred to as the millionaire mindset – they have what it takes to make wealth… even in the COVID-19 crisis.
I started learning how to harness my millionaire mindset by role modeling other successful entrepreneurs. Business success will, ultimately, be determined by how great my business mindset is, how able I am to show up every day in my business challenges, what I do when things get tough and I’m not feeling up to it, and consistently take the necessary steps and action every day to move forward. That is the real test of success.
Listed below are the main characteristics of a millionaire mindset. Nurturing these common traits will enable you to make decisions consistently, commit to the process, and achieve business success. Let’s see if you have what it takes:
- They raise the BAR (Beliefs, Actions, Results)
- They understand their why
- They follow their passion
- They aren’t afraid to fail
- They act fast
- They are independent thinkers
- They think big
- They are focused
- They build strong teams
- They leverage their success
- They love learning
- They love teaching
- They never give up

CALL TO ACTION – Implement the 3 simple strategies to beat the Covid-19 crisis
Take a deep breath and repeat after me…
“This COVID-19 crisis shall pass – and I will be ready to break into my best life when it does.”
We humans are a resilient bunch. We survived the ice age, the black plague, bird flu, swine flu, and every other flu mother nature has thrown at us.
We will survive Coronavirus.
And soon after, businesses will flourish again, people will be back to work, and life will return to normal. It’s been proven time and time again over the course of history.
You see, the world will always have ups and downs, and I want to make sure that we are all prepared for the “downs” as much as we are the “ups”.
